I would be interested to hear about your experiences with intranets and how they have helped in your work.

    Hi Ryan,

I have found that in most if not all of my projects a well-maintained intranet has been critical for project communications, status and shared knowledge. Most of the teams I’ve worked with have been virtual – spread across the US, Europe and India – so an intranet has really been our replacement for an on-site “warroom”.

I’ve used intranets to post after action reviews, critical schedule updates, resource estimates and phase reviews – in short, they have helped me move the project through the software development lifecycle. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Joelle
